Out of the Mouth of the Parrett goes live – March 21st until April 8th

22 Feb

If you accept that every entity, metaphorically or otherwise, has a main artery that defines life, then historically for Somerset this has to be the river Parrett. An influential and integral part of the counties identity, the river slices through the landscape from a meager beginning across the boarder in West Dorset close to Cheddington eventually exiting into the Bristol Channel as a major topographical intervention. Theatre Melange in partnership with Somerset Libraries have investigated the relationship of people and place along the Parrett to produced a multi-media production that will be open to the public at Bridgwater Library from March 21st until April 8th 2017. Exposure 47 are pleased to have supported this exciting project with photography that considers the words submerge, emerge and merge using a range of photographic techniques, media and approaches.
